OS X Lion Restore causes application windows to reopen after you restart the application, and people seem to either love it or hate it. Sure, you can turn it off completely, but it’s a little arrogant if you just don’t want certain apps to restore their windows, and still want to keep working in others.

This is exactly what RestoreMeNot lets you do; control which applications use window recovery and which do not. This is easily done through the RestoreMeNot settings panel list, where anything added to it disables the feature when you restart the application.

Quick Note: If you receive a message asking you to launch the application first, it is because it is based on existing saved status folders.
